Domus Alabaster Chandelier
A solid alabaster bowl rests beneath a tapered alabaster cap — both pieces carved from the same natural stone, both lit from within by an integrated LED. The wide upturned bowl directs light upward against the ceiling for ambient illumination, while the conical cap reads as a sculptural detail. Available in two sizes — ∅ 19.7″ and ∅ 27.6″ — the Domus suits dining tables, entryway foyers, bedrooms, and reading nooks.

Alabaster is a natural stone. Both the bowl and the cap are hand-finished, and the vein pattern, color depth, and translucency vary from piece to piece. Your fixture will look related to — but not identical to — the photographs.
Hardwired — licensed electrician required
Connects to a standard ceiling junction box. Standard cable drop is 59″ — extendable on request to suit your ceiling height.

Which size do I need for my space?
The small size (∅ 19.7″) suits entryways, bedrooms, reading nooks, and small dining areas. The large size (∅ 27.6″) is scaled for dining tables 48–60 inches across and for living rooms with 9–10 foot ceilings. As a guide for dining installations, allow 30–36 inches between the table surface and the bottom of the bowl.
Why does my fixture look different from the photographs?
Alabaster is a natural stone. No two blocks have the same vein pattern, color saturation, or translucency. The bowl and cap in your fixture are cut from unique pieces, so the overall character of your chandelier will resemble — but not match — the reference photos. This is the nature of working with real stone, not a defect.
How is the alabaster lit?
An integrated LED is concealed inside the fixture. The bowl directs light upward, washing the ceiling with a soft uplight, while the alabaster itself glows from within and reveals the natural veins. There is no exposed bulb to see or replace.
Can I make it dimmable?
Yes — specify the dimmable version when placing your order. Pair it with a Triac dimmer switch (purchased separately) for smooth, flicker-free dimming. The dimmable LED is fixed at manufacture, so the option must be chosen at order.
Is the Domus certified for North America?
Yes. It holds certifications compatible with North America, Saudi Arabia, Europe, and Australia and operates on AC 110–240V worldwide.

Return Policy
BlushLighting’s return policy lasts for 30 days from the date you receive your item. Unfortunately, returns requested after this period are not eligible for a refund or exchange.
To initiate a return, please email info@blushlighting.com. Our team will provide you with the return mailing address. Please note that customers are responsible for the return shipping costs upfront (refunds for shipping costs may apply in certain cases).
Returned items must be unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging.

At BlushLighting, we believe the perfect chandelier is more than just a light — it’s a statement. Choosing the right size ensures your chandelier enhances the space without overpowering it, creating balance, beauty, and functionality.
BlushLighting Whole Room Formula
1. Finding the Right Diameter
For the Whole Room
Simply add the room’s length and width (in feet). The sum, converted to inches, is the ideal chandelier diameter.
Example:
If your room measures 12 feet in length and 10 feet in width, the total is 22 feet.
That means a chandelier with a diameter of about 24 inches will be well-proportioned for the space.
For Dining Tables or Kitchen Islands
Choose a chandelier that is roughly half to three-quarters the width of your table or island. This keeps the proportions balanced while making a statement.
2. Determining the Right Height
A quick formula:
Take your ceiling height (in feet) and multiply by 2.5. The result is the recommended chandelier height in inches.
Example:
For a 11-foot ceiling, 11 × 2.5 = 27.5 inches tall chandelier.
3. Hanging Height Guidelines

4. Long Hallways
For hallways, the ideal chandelier size is based on the hallway’s width. Simply multiply the width in feet by 2.5 to determine the chandelier’s diameter in inches.

Center the chandelier, space multiples 8–10 ft apart
Keep bottom at least 7.5 ft above the floor
